Located in the charming hamlet of Les Chatres, near Cheniers (Creuse) and Aigurande (Indre), we offer a cozy double room for two adults and one small child. The room includes a private en suite shower room and toilet, and we provide amenities such as a cot, high chair, and baby bath upon request. In the room, you will also find tea/coffee making facilities. Additionally, we offer a private lounge with a TV, WiFi, and a DVD player, as well as a patio/terrace area for outdoor dining when the weather permits. Guests are welcome to use our two adult bicycles.

For those who wish to dine with us, we offer an evening meal for 17.50 euros per person, including wine, upon request. We are also happy to accommodate special dietary needs if notified in advance. Nearby attractions include Bourg dhem, a 15-minute drive away, where you can enjoy a sandy beach, pedalos, and a bar/restaurant. Just a 5-minute drive away is the Tuilerie de Pouligny, where you can visit a museum and even try your hand at making pottery.

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunities for bird watching, cycling, walking, and fishing, with the two rivers of La Creue and La Petite Creuse right at our doorstep. Our chambre d'hotes is conveniently located just over 1 hour and 30 minutes from Limoges airport and approximately 200 miles south of Paris. The journey from Calais is around 6-7 hours by car. If you prefer public transportation, there are direct rail connections from Paris/Lille to Chateauroux and La Souterraine. Whether you are traveling to southern France or beyond, La Creuse is an ideal stopover point in the center of France.
