La Casa Nova, a historic building, underwent restoration in 2004. The old haylofts have been revived and transformed into charming and comfortable apartments.Currently, we are delighted to offer two apartments, accommodating a total of 4 to 6 people. Each apartment features a bathroom, a stone-built kitchen, and a cozy fireplace. The traditional furnishings, including wooden ceilings, tiled floors, and classic Italian design, will immerse you in the authentic soul of Tuscan traditions. Additionally, the apartments are equipped with a double sofa bed and an extra flexible single bed.
The prices for each apartment, suitable for 2 to 3 people, are as follows:
- 60 EUROS PER DAY
- 360 EUROS PER WEEK
These rates include breakfast, where you will find all the necessary ingredients for an Italian-style breakfast in the kitchen. We also provide informative tourist brochures, and for longer stays, we offer weekly cleaning services.
Description for Gite
La Casa Nova has a rich history dating back to the 11th century, when it served as a control tower in the picturesque Tevere valley. Over the years, it transformed into a charming Country house with a unique "a corte chiusa" structure, and it has been owned by the Cangi family ever since. Today, after undergoing recent restoration, La Casa Nova offers two independent Bed & Breakfast apartments that have been tastefully converted from haylofts. Situated in front of one of the serene gardens, guests can indulge in the peaceful atmosphere, lounging on comfortable chairs or hammocks.Aside from providing accommodation, La Casa Nova is also a thriving farmhouse. Here, farm animals are bred, and a variety of fruits, flowers, vegetables, crops, and even tobacco plants are cultivated. Moreover, the farmhouse is known for producing high-quality honey.

Directions
BY CAR:
If you are traveling from Milan-Bologna, take highway A14 to Cesena and exit at Cesena nord. Then, follow E45 towards Rome-Perugia and take the exit for Sansepolcro sud. From there, turn right towards Anghiari. Once you reach the hamlet S. Fiora, turn right again at the sign for "S. Croce".
If you are coming from Rome, take highway A1 to Orte and then follow E45 towards Perugia-Cesena. Take the exit for Sansepolcro sud and turn left towards Anghiari. When you reach the hamlet S. Fiora, turn right at the sign for "S. Croce".
From Florence, take highway A1 towards Rome and exit at Arezzo. Follow the directions to Sansepolcro along S.S.73 and then turn left towards Anghiari. Once you reach the hamlet S. Fiora, turn right at the sign for "S. Croce".
BY TRAIN:
If you are arriving at Arezzo railway station (Italian Railways FS Milan-Rome), you can either take a taxi (approximately 28 km) or a bus operated by autolinee SITA to reach Sansepolcro.
BY PLANE:
If you are flying into Fiumicino - Rome Airport, it is approximately 210 km away. Florence Airport is about 102 km away, and Sant'Egidio - Perugia Airport is approximately 58 km away.
