Welcome to the Alsatian Cottage, a charming and traditional barrel-maker's house built in 1578. Located in the historic district of the medieval wine-growing town of Ribeauvillé, our gîte is surrounded by a beautiful flowered courtyard. With a yearly sunshine average of 1978 hours, you can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of our region.

Our lovingly restored house offers a variety of comfortable and well-equipped apartments. Each apartment is quiet and features a charming sunlit courtyard (410 m²) where you can relax and enjoy your meals. We take pride in our history and roots, and we are delighted to share the magnificence of our region with you. Experience the changing seasons, immerse yourself in our heritage, history, landscape, and traditions.

We offer a warm and personal welcome in our authentic house, conveniently located near the town center. Situated at the foot of Mt Taennchel, you can enjoy a relaxing time in the charming medieval city of Ribeauvillé. Ribeauvillé is a health resort, a Green Station of Holidays, and a flowered village on the Alsatian wine route, nestled between vineyards and mountains. It is equidistant between Colmar and Sélestat, and halfway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse.

Our gîte is perfect for two persons. The bedroom features a wardrobe dresser, bedside tables, and typical Alsatian furniture with a safe for valuables. You can enjoy a comfortable sleep on a large bed with high-quality bed linen. The living area includes a sofa, armchair, table, chairs, and a dresser. The decoration and furnishings are carefully chosen to create a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, a sink, refrigerator, electric coffee machine, cooking table and oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and storage units.

The bathroom is fully tiled and features a shower, washbasin, and W.C. We also provide free Wi-Fi internet access for our guests. Upon arrival, you will receive a personalized reception and a welcome gift. We also offer special rates for our regular customers. The visitor's tax is included in the prices.

The recently updated Gîte Alsatien is conveniently located in Ribeauvillé, in the heart of the medieval city and the wine route. It is equidistant from Colmar and Sélestat, just a 10-minute drive away, and halfway between Strasbourg and Mulhouse, which are both 30 minutes away.
There is a complimentary car park right across from our entrance. When you arrive, you will receive a warm and personalized welcome in our historic house. Our location is ideal for exploring Alsace, with the center of Ribeauvillé just a short walk away. You can relax in our charming courtyard and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the medieval town. Come and experience a truly authentic Alsace holiday at the Gîte Alsatien.
