The house, constructed in the mid 1600s, exudes an abundance of character and charm. Its delightful features include exposed oak beams, window seats, an inviting inglenook fireplace, and charming flagged floors. The cozy TV lounge, complete with an open log fire, radiates warmth and creates an inviting atmosphere. In the sitting room, guests can indulge in a wide variety of books and games, while also having the opportunity to showcase their musical talents on the piano and other instruments. Our snug bedrooms boast a multitude of period details, along with small en-suite facilities and tasteful furnishings that complement the overall ambience.

Nestled within our expansive riverside garden, guests can unwind and revel in the tranquility of nature, as it serves as a sanctuary for a plethora of wildlife, including frequent visits from the vibrant kingfisher. For added enjoyment, we offer private trout fishing and a small play area for children, complete with a swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating activities (subject to river conditions).

At mealtime, indulge in our delectable evening meals prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, available from Monday to Thursday. Traditional favorites such as Roast Beef and Yorkshires, as well as Beryl's special bread and butter pudding, are sure to please your palate. To start your day off right, our full English breakfast will provide the perfect fuel. All meals are served around our expansive oak table, providing a communal setting for sharing the day's events with fellow guests.
