Welcome to Hastings House, a charming guest house that has been providing exceptional accommodation since 1855. Originally established by Elizabeth Shakespeare, the first owner, Hastings House continues to offer a warm and inviting stay in the beautiful town of Hastings St Leonards.Boasting magnificent views of Warrior Square gardens, the beach, sea, and Hastings Pier, our rooms are individually decorated and feature crisp linen sheets, luxurious duvets, and color TVs. Recently renovated rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and free view channels for your entertainment. Additionally, all rooms include tea and coffee facilities.
Our guest house is open year-round, and for the convenience and enjoyment of our guests, we offer a licensed bar/lounge. Please note that Hastings House operates a strict non-smoking policy throughout.
Stay connected with our complimentary Wi-Fi connection, available in both our lounge and bedrooms. Parking is readily available around Warrior Square, with two hours of free parking between 10:00 and 16:00, as well as free overnight parking from 16:00 to 10:00. We also offer secure overnight storage for bicycles on our premises.
We happily welcome pets with prior arrangement, subject to a surcharge of £5.00 per night.

By Train: Warrior Square station is conveniently located just a short walk away, approximately 1 1/2 hours from London. You can obtain the timetable information for the train service.
By Coach: If you prefer to travel by coach, you can take routes 23/24, which will drop you off on the sea front side of Warrior Square. This service is provided by National Express.
By Air: If you are arriving at Gatwick Airport, there are direct trains available to Warrior Square. You can find more information about Gatwick Airport.
By Road: For those traveling by car, from London, you can take the A21 route towards Hastings and follow the signs for St Leonards Sea Front. If you are coming from the West, take the A27 route towards Brighton and then proceed on the A259 main coastal route. From the East, follow the A259 coastal route from Dover. If you are coming from Canterbury or Tenterden, take the A27 route towards Hastings (A21) and then follow the directions as mentioned above.
When you arrive in Hastings/St Leonards, if the sea is on your right, you will find Warrior Square approximately 400 meters before the Pier. If the sea is on your left, Warrior Square is approximately 400 meters after the Pier.
There is usually free parking available near Warrior Square.
