Located just moments away from the serene lake and dam of Castelo de Bode in central Portugal, our charming Bed and Breakfast is nestled within a sprawling garden adorned with lush trees and a spacious swimming pool. Guests can unwind in our tranquil chill-out area nestled beneath the foliage, or enjoy the open kitchen and breakfast lounge al fresco. Our comfortable and inviting double rooms, housed in a separate building, feature en suite bathrooms with showers, wash basins, toilets, and bidets, as well as traditional red stone floors. Each room is equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a small fridge. We also offer the option of adding an additional bed for one person (for a supplementary fee). Families can opt for our cozy self-contained house, complete with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and a living room with a sleeping couch. Bed and bath linens are included in all room prices, and guests can also avail themselves of towels for the swimming pool. Children are warmly welcomed, and we even offer mountain bikes for guests to use. Parking space is available, though we regret that pets are not allowed. As always, our prices include a delicious breakfast. For those seeking adventure, a short drive will lead you to the nearby city of Tomar, home to the remarkable Convento de Cristo, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a Templar castle and cloister. Alternatively, you can explore the shores of the lake, offering a myriad of water sports activities. Excursions to the famous sanctuary of Fatima, the historical university town of Coimbra, the beautiful cloister at Alcobaça, and the picturesque seaside resort of São Martinho do Porto on the Atlantic coast are all well worth the journey.
