The ground floor of the cottage features a stone-walled lounge with a beamed ceiling, an impressive inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove, and a window seat. Recently redecorated and refurbished to an exceptional standard, the lounge is furnished with the utmost care and attention to detail. Also on the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area with a dining table and chairs, a comfortable leather sofa and armchair, a color television, a Freeview box with digital radio, a DVD player, and a CD/MP3 player with radio. An adjoining toilet and utility room are also conveniently located on this level. A wide range of books, DVDs, CDs, and games are provided for your enjoyment.

The cottage is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a gas cooker, a fridge with a freezer section, a separate freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and gas central heating.

Upstairs, you will find a charming double bedroom with a pocket sprung mattress and a television, as well as a single bedroom with lovely views overlooking the village and the surrounding landscape. The cottage can accommodate up to three people, with the option of also providing a travel cot for a baby. The toilet/bathroom features a bath and a shower-over-bath.

In terms of communication, there is a payphone available, and mobile reception is accessible depending on your network. Off-road parking for one car is conveniently located directly outside the cottage, with additional parking readily available on the road opposite.

For families with infants, a travel cot and high chair can be provided at no extra cost. All bedding and linen, excluding the travel cot, as well as towels, are provided free of charge. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on request, with a small additional charge applying. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the cottage.

Please note that the stairs leading to the first floor are slightly steep, making the cottage potentially unsuitable for individuals with limited mobility or young children.
