The Halepa Hotel, a stunning example of the New Classical style period, was constructed in the late 1800s by a wealthy merchant. Originally serving as the Embassy building of the British during the era of Cretan Democracy, this historic establishment played a pivotal role in Cretan history, hosting the signing of numerous significant treaties. In 1990, the hotel underwent a meticulous renovation, adding a new wing with 42 rooms while preserving the grandeur of the original structure. Since then, the Halepa Hotel has enjoyed great success.

The accommodations at Halepa Hotel include 3 Suites and 46 rooms. The Traditional Wing offers a VIP Suite and 5 Superior rooms, which can be accessed via an elegant exterior marble staircase. The New Wing features 2 Small Suites and 41 Standard rooms, including 3 adjoining Family rooms. All rooms are well-appointed with modern amenities such as a private bathroom, hair dryer, shaver outlet (110/220), phone, free internet access, music, satellite TV, mini-bar, and central heating/air conditioning.
