Step into an 1820s farmhouse that exudes a cozy country ambiance, featuring wide pine floors, antique furnishings, charming quilts, and beautiful stenciling.

Bill, our friendly host, is always delighted to assist you in planning your day, offering valuable insights into the area, and sharing the local secrets for navigating the surroundings.

Travel directions from North Conway Village:
- From Rt. 16, at the traffic light, turn east onto Kearsarge Street.
- Continue for 1.5 miles until you reach a stop sign.
- Go straight across the intersection onto Mt. Surprise Road.
- Follow Mt. Surprise Road, bearing left, until you reach the inn.
Travel directions from Boston:
- Take I-95 North to Portsmouth, NH.
- Continue on Spaulding Tpk. North until it ends.
- Take Rt. 16 to North Conway OR take Rt. 93N to Exit 23 (Rt 104E), then take Rt. 25E to Rt. 16N to North Conway.
To bypass the Shopping District using the new North-South Road:
- Follow the above directions from North Conway Village or follow the instructions below.
- Use the new North-South Road, which connects Kearsarge Street with Route 302.
For MapQuest:

- After approximately 3.3 miles, look for a highway sign for "The Buttonwood Inn - Hurricane Mt. Road".
- Take the SECOND left, 0.3 miles after the sign.
- Turn left onto Hurricane Mt. Road.
- Go 1.2 miles and turn left onto Mt. Surprise Road.
- Look for a black highway sign for The Buttonwood Inn pointing left.
- Bear left and the road will turn to dirt.
- The inn's sign will be straight ahead and the driveway will be just to the right of the sign.
Travel directions from I-93 in Lincoln, NH:
- In Summer (May to mid-November): Take the Kancamagus Highway (Rt. 112) for approximately 24 miles.
- Then turn left onto Bear Notch Road. (This road is closed in the winter!)
- Follow Bear Notch Rd. to the blinking light in the center of Bartlett.
- Turn right at the light onto Rt. 302 East.
- Follow the directions above from Glen.
- This is a scenic route that avoids North Conway traffic.
- In Winter: Take the Kancamagus Highway (Rt. 112) to the end in Conway at the intersection of Rt. 16.
- Follow the directions below to bypass North Conway's shopping district.
To bypass the Shopping District from the South:
- If traveling from the South on Rt. 16, at the first set of traffic lights in Conway, take a left onto Washington St.
- After 1/2 mile, bear left at the fork onto West Side Rd.
- Continue on West Side Rd until it ends at a stop sign, then turn right onto River Road.
- At the stop lights, continue straight through.
- At the stop sign in front of John Fuller school, turn right.
- At the next stop sign, turn left onto Mechanic Street.
- At the following stop sign, turn left onto Kearsarge Street.
- Now follow the directions above from North Conway Village.
By Air:
