Located in a secluded valley, Combe Lancey is a historic manor that dates back to the Norman Conquest. It was established by the de Launcells family and is situated just beyond the old Market Town of Crediton, overlooking the village of Sandford.Combe Lancey operates as a working farm, housing sheep and cattle. Accessible via its own private roads, the property is surrounded by 150 acres of beautiful meadows. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Crediton, and the charming village of Sandford, which boasts lovely old Pubs. Additionally, the stunning Dartmoor National Park is easily accessible, and the historical Cathedral City of Exeter is just a short distance away.
The accommodation at Combe Lancey is housed within the cob and timbered Linhay, which is part of the Listed 15th Century thatched Farmhouse. With views overlooking the valley, formal gardens, and orchard, the beamed rooms offer a comfortable and private stay. Both rooms are en-suite, and there is a separate Breakfast Room for guests to enjoy their meals in a peaceful setting.

Directions
To reach Sandford from Crediton, head towards the road leading to Sandford at the Crediton junction. As you leave Crediton, you will come across Creedy Park lodge gate at the bottom of the hill. Take the left road towards Morchard Bishop. After approximately 400 yards, when you reach the top of the hill, turn sharply left onto the lane marked as Public Footpath/Combe Lancey. Follow the lane until you reach the bottom of the valley, then turn right into the courtyard.
If you are coming from Tiverton, enter Crediton following the direction after the turn off to Lord's Leisure Centre and Industrial Estate. Take the first right towards Sandford.
