Located in a tranquil sanctuary, you will discover a one-of-a-kind setting in the midst of nature, providing you with ample time to unwind and relax. The room is situated in a separate building from our main house and consists of a charming 28 m² space with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Inside, you will find a comfortable 140cm bed and a 90cm bed that can be converted into a sofa if only two guests are present. Additionally, the room offers a library, table, chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, kettle, and crockery for your convenience. Adjacent to the room, you can delight in the garden under the shade of a pergola, where a forest table awaits you, allowing for delightful meals with a breathtaking view. Children can also enjoy a shared play area with the accommodation.
For your convenience, we accept payment by check. The price for the room is 45€ for two people or 55€ for three people, including a delightful organic breakfast (with one double bed and one single bed). Additionally, upon reservation (only available on Fridays and Saturdays), we offer organic and vegetarian meals for 12.50€ per person. Please note that we do not allow pets.
In the nearby village, you will find a skilled potter and a local shepherdess who sells delicious cheese. Within the Baronnies region, you can explore a castle, a Cistercian abbey, a stunning gorge, an interpretive trail known as the "Little Amazon," and discover numerous picturesque villages where time seems to stand still. The scenery is truly enchanting and has been officially classified as such.

Description for Gite

The "Barn Owl" cottage is located in a tranquil village in the Baronnies, 660m above sea level. Nestled amidst nature, you can indulge in breathtaking mountain views and explore the surrounding area through marked hiking trails right from your doorstep.

Situated on a spacious 3,500m² plot, the cottage shares the space with our main house and a separate guesthouse. This beautifully renovated barn features a ground floor with a combined living room and kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find two interconnected rooms, one with a comfortable 140cm bed and the other with bunk beds, perfect for children.

A charming garden corner allows you to savor your meals outdoors while immersing yourself in the stunning mountain landscape. Additionally, we offer a bed and breakfast option for 2 or 3 people at the adjacent "Chickadees" site.

Rental details:
- Outside of school holidays: €285 per week
- During school holidays: €385 per week
Please note that we do not accept pets. Payment by check is accepted.

At the end of your stay, a tourist tax of €0.50 per person per day (excluding those under 18) will be collected.

Additional services:
To enhance your comfort, we provide an ample supply of wood free of charge for the wood stove, while the main heating is electric. Linen hire is available as an optional extra (single bed sheets: €10, double bed sheets: €15, towels: €5 per person). Payment for this service can be made upon arrival.

Upon departure, you have two choices for spring cleaning. You can either arrange to do it yourself, which includes a thorough cleaning, or for a fee of €50, we can take care of it for you.

The Surroundings:
The town of Lies is conveniently located 8km from Bagnère-de-Bigorre, a charming spa town. Here, you can explore a delightful farmers market every Saturday, visit the Aquensis spa center, enjoy a movie at the cinema, catch a show at the theater, or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. In the wider area, you'll find the Ski Resort Domaine "TOURMALET - BAREGES La Mongie" just 20 kilometers away, as well as the iconic Peak Midi de Bigorre (the ship of the stars) and the pilgrimage site of Lourdes. Our valleys also offer numerous opportunities for medium and high mountain hiking adventures.

Super régions , chambre dhôtes sans grand standing , mais elle a plein de charme et ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour très agréable .Et en plus de la gentillesse des propriétaires le panorama est grandiose . Merci

Début novembre...Petit WE de repos dans un endroit paisible et un accueil fort sympathique.
La chambre équipée est très confortable et laménagement cuisine permet d'être indépendant pour les repas.Nous n'avons pas pu goûter aux repas du soir maison car nous sommes restés trop peu de temps.Nous recommandons cet endroit et un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur service.
