Description for B&B:

Russell, Heather, Louis, and Henry invite you to experience the utmost comfort and luxury of their exquisite 19th-century Chateau. Situated in the charming village of Salechan, nestled amidst the majestic Pyrenean Mountains, this meticulously restored haven offers five spacious and opulent rooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities and breathtaking mountain views. Built in 1873, the three-story house provides a secluded and private retreat, set back from the Route Nationale. The front of the house exudes grandeur with its impressive marble columns and balcony. Step inside to discover a sweeping staircase, original parquet flooring, and unique marble fireplaces in every room, among other delightful features.

Our stunning rooms are named after the picturesque vistas they overlook. The Chambre St Julien, located at the front of the house, entices you to step onto two private balconies, one of which offers panoramic views of the Pyrenees and the beautiful Spa town of Bagneres De Luchon. This spacious south-facing room exudes character with its lovingly restored original ceiling, parquet flooring, and magnificent marble fireplace. The en-suite bathroom features both a bath and shower, with access to a private south-facing balcony.

Also positioned proudly at the front of the house is the Chambre Pic Du Gar. This centrally located room boasts a grand balcony and captivating views of Pic du Gar, providing a tranquil and comfortable retreat. With its high ceiling, beautiful wooden floor, original fireplace, and tasteful neutral decor, this room is a favorite among our guests. The en-suite bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower that spans the length of the room, with double doors opening onto a private balcony.

Join us for breakfast in our elegantly wood-paneled dining room, which opens onto a tiled terrace during the summer months, offering a truly stunning setting to savor your sumptuous continental breakfast and start your day off right. In the evening, return to the dining room, adorned with a Louis 13th chandelier, to indulge in a delightful meal of local delicacies, prepared by our experienced host. By prior arrangement, you can enjoy an aperitif followed by a three-course dinner, showcasing the finest cuisine in the area, accompanied by red or white wine and coffee. Vegetarian options are available upon request. For families with young children, we are happy to accommodate their routines by arranging an earlier mealtime.
