Description for B&B:

Welcome to Château Labistoul, a charming bed and breakfast located near Cordes sur Ciel in the picturesque south of France. Nestled in 18 hectares of stunning countryside, our guest house offers a peaceful and tranquil oasis for relaxation. Surrounded by panoramic views and green valleys, Château Labistoul is the ideal place to unwind during the long, warm summers or explore the vibrant natural scenery in the colorful spring or autumn.

Our accommodation can comfortably sleep up to 18 people in two separate rooms - one double, one twin - as well as a spacious family gite/farmhouse. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom for your convenience.

During your stay, you can enjoy our two swimming pools, beautifully landscaped gardens with an ancient lavoir, and a courtyard featuring an old fountain where we serve breakfast. Immerse yourself in the rich history and ambiance of Château Labistoul, which was founded as a watchtower for the village of Campes in the 11th century. The open fireplace and charming surroundings allow for moments of reflection and dreaming about the past.

From our gardens, you can admire breathtaking views of the countryside, with the village of Bournazel visible in the distance. Throughout the centuries, the trickling river Magot has provided us with fresh water, hosting abundant trout. You may even spot deer drinking from this river, as they have done since the time of Simon de Montfort.

Conveniently located 2 kilometers from Saint Marcel and 4 kilometers from the medieval hilltop village of Cordes sur Ciel, Château Labistoul offers easy access to the surrounding area. Our château has been meticulously restored to a high standard, providing modern facilities for your comfort.

During your holiday, take the time to explore the beautiful region, whether it's lounging by the pool, strolling through the gardens and grounds of the château, or engaging in various activities such as archery, canoeing, and walking. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the stunning Cathedral Saint Cécile, famous for its Russian choir, as well as the nearby medieval villages that seem frozen in time.

Unwind and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, savor a glass of local French wine on the terrace during the summer, or cozy up in front of a roaring log fire in the winter.

At Château Labistoul, we are dedicated to ensuring you have an unforgettable holiday. With our extensive knowledge of the area, we are happy to provide personalized recommendations and assistance. Whether you choose our charming bed and breakfast or opt for the private farmhouse with its own swimming pool, we guarantee our utmost attention to make your stay perfect. Welcome to Château Labistoul!
