Description for B&B:

Welcome to Mas de Garrigue, a remarkable historic house that was once a 15th century hunting lodge and fortified farm. This exquisite property has been lovingly restored by Sarah and Steven, who have taken great care to preserve its original features, including the impressive stone fireplaces, arrowslits, a beautiful 15th century window, stone sinks, majestic oak beams, and even pigeon coops.

Sarah and Steven have brought their own elegant taste and a touch of contemporary flair to the restoration, resulting in a seamless marriage of Irish antiques and art with the charming French architecture.

Located in the picturesque Midi Pyrenees region of South West France, Mas de Garrigue offers warm Irish hospitality. Sarah, who studied cuisine in Paris, and Steven, who comes from the renowned Irish culinary and hospitable Allen clan, are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences. They take pride in serving sumptuous dinners made with homegrown and locally sourced produce. Each year, Steve raises two "Noir de Gascon" pigs, which Sarah skillfully transforms into mouthwatering terrines, pates, saucisse, and hams. Additionally, Steven keeps the kitchen stocked with an array of fresh vegetables, tomatoes, herbs, and even saffron.

Come and experience the harmonious blend of history, culture, and gastronomy at Mas de Garrigue, where Sarah and Steven await to provide you with a truly unforgettable stay.
