Welcome to "Au fil de l'eau," a charming 17th-century cottage that has been completely renovated and is nestled in an enchanting setting just a few kilometers from the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Situated at the entrance to Montolieu, a picturesque book village, and on the banks of a tranquil river, this character-filled cottage offers a truly magical experience. The cozy living/dining room, adorned with a fireplace and a comfortable convertible sofa, creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen, with its beautifully carved stone vault, opens up to a sun-drenched terrace of 30m2, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the river and the garden.

The cottage features two delightful double bedrooms, one with a 1.60m bed and the other with a 1.40m bed. The bathroom boasts an authentic bathtub, an Italian shower, and a WC.

Stay connected with our complimentary WIFI connection, and make use of the barbecue on the terrace or enjoy a game of petanque with the provided balls. For those seeking a refreshing swim, there is a swimming pool on the premises. If you fancy trout fishing, you can indulge in this activity right on-site.
