Located in the heart of Yonne in Burgundy, near Avallon, Carpe Diem is a charming guest house that was once a farm in the 18th and 19th centuries. Situated in the picturesque village of Massangis, known for its historic stone quarry and the tranquil Serein river, Carpe Diem invites you to experience its warm and inviting atmosphere.

Massangis stone is renowned worldwide, having been used in iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower, the Abbey of Fontenay, the Grand Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Opera Garnier, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo.

Within Carpe Diem, you will find five beautifully decorated bedrooms that exude a "family spirit." The larger rooms feature king size beds, while all rooms offer comfort and relaxation. Choose between an Italian shower or an Island bath according to your preference.

The property boasts an enclosed garden and courtyard, providing a secure parking space for your car. Breakfast is included in your stay, and for dinner, guests have the opportunity to dine at our table d'hôtes every night except for Thursdays. Please note that booking in advance is required.

excellente adresse, accueil très chaleureux, atmosphère de sérénité, de gentillesse, , un moment près de la grande cheminée et un diner digne des grands chefs. Elégance des nouvelles chambres.tout vous donne envie de prolonger votre séjour.
