This charming gite is the perfect getaway for two people, nestled between the beautiful Ocean and Forest. No matter the season, you'll be able to appreciate the natural beauty of this unique area. Despite being close to everything, the gite provides a peaceful and quiet retreat. Located just 5 minutes from the resort of LA 17570 PALMYRA, its renowned ZOO, and the sandy beaches of Pine Forest, you can book a week-long stay or a weekend getaway during the off-season.

This detached single-story house is clean and bright, offering a comfortable space of 55m2, perfect for a couple. It features a well-equipped kitchenette, a cozy bedroom with a comfortable bed (140), a bathroom with a toilet, and a terrace and garden where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The rental includes essential amenities such as a fridge-freezer, oven, rotisserie, new 4 burner hob, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and heating. You can conveniently park your car on the property through a private entrance.

All necessary shops, markets, and restaurants are within close proximity. The house is also conveniently located near cycle tracks (200m) and bike rentals (approximately 500m). If desired, bed linen and beds can be rented and made upon arrival.

Please note that in this type of rental, guests are responsible for their meals, cleaning the premises, and bringing their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, and kitchen supplies. The room is strictly non-smoking, and unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated due to hygiene and allergy reasons. Private parking for cars and bicycles is available on the property.

The town of Palmyra LES MATHES-LA offers various attractions and activities including a zoo, a racecourse, golf, sailing, jet-skiing, tree climbing, horse riding, and oyster huts. Additionally, the gite is conveniently located near popular destinations such as Royan, Ile d'Oleron (30 minutes), the City of Marennes oysters, Ile de RE, LA ROCHELLE, and its famous aquarium.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez nos hôtes. La chambre est très soignée et au calme. Nous avons été tout de suite mis à l'aise par nos hôtes qui étaient toujours disponibles et très accueillants. Le petit déjeuner : un vrai délice, notamment et surtout les gâteaux confectionnés par Joëlle ! Merci à vous et nous retenons votre adresse pour un prochain séjour.

Des hôtes formidables, un accueil chaleureux, un lieu très agréables à vivre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Des petits déjeuners fait maison pour le plus grand plaisir de nos papilles...
Avec en plus le privilège de découvrir quelques œuvres d'art réalisées par Joele et l'humour sans fin de Jean-Paul.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Directions

Travel directions on the Atlantic coast can be taken via different routes. One option is to travel by LA ROCHELLE towards Ile d'Oleron, Marennes, and Tremeirchion. Another option is to go through ROYAN. Alternatively, one can choose to go through SAINTES in the direction of Saujon and Les Mathes. In terms of highways, the recommended route is through SAINTS, PONS, and MIRAMBEAU, which will eventually lead to BORDEAUX.
