Description for B&B:

Welcome to La Tisserande, a charming historical stone guesthouse in the heart of Brittany. With a focus on preserving the past and embracing the future, our whimsical and serene retreat is nestled among woodlands, rivers, oceans, and ancient mountains. La Tisserande, meaning the Weaver of Water, invites solo travelers, couples, families, and friends to embark on a journey of discovery, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

Whether you are seeking to uncover the myths and legends of this magical region, indulge in a romantic getaway surrounded by nature, or simply find solace and self-care through forest-bathing, La Tisserande can bring your desires to life. Our 17th-century flax-farm and linen-weavery serve as the perfect hub for exploring the four directions of the region.

But your vacation here goes beyond personal experience. 100% of the proceeds from your stay at La Tisserande support La SOURCE Center for Research & Creation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to Love-Studies. By investing in your own adventure, you contribute to ongoing research and make a meaningful impact on the world.

At La Tisserande, imagination thrives, and harmony with the earth is embraced. Discover the hidden beauty that awaits you beyond each tree, river, and moment. Embrace an ecological lifestyle and deepen your connection with our marvelous planet, our shared home.

Our passionate team of four coordinators, along with our adorable mini-dog, three hens, a duck, and eleven goats, are here to serve you and support our mission. In 2012, we renovated our Maison d'Hôtes de Charme using ecological and natural materials. Rest assured, our luxury hotel linens from Linvosges are washed with organic, body-safe, and earth-safe detergents. You'll enjoy restful sleep on high-end memory foam mattresses, waking up refreshed and energized for the day ahead. We also provide customized and locally sourced organic, body-safe, and earth-safe soap, body wash, and shampoo.

Choose from our comfortable accommodations that include a duplex suite for three, a duplex suite for four, a double bedroom suite for four, and an independent fully equipped cottage for two to three people. All our rooms grant open access to the heated pool. Additionally, we are delighted to share our expansive garden with you, offering peaceful corners for picnicking or basking in the sun. As a traditional French "corps de ferme," our property features a central meeting place surrounded by charming stone buildings.

You are welcome to utilize our Hearth, a space that combines Earth and Heart. Twice a week, we offer Table d'Hôtes, and during the summer, we cook directly with wood fire in our summer kitchen. Feel free to prepare your own meals in this space as well.

At La Tisserande, your stay is not just a vacation, but a purposeful experience with a meaningful impact. Join us in weaving a brighter future while immersing yourself in the enchanting beauty of Brittany.
