Located halfway between the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux, and the famous Mont-Saint-Michel, Joug d'Antan is the perfect base for exploring and relaxing in Normandy. The ground floor of the property features exposed beams and a stone wall, preserving the original character. The open plan lounge is equipped with comfortable armchairs, a cozy sofa, and a TV with British and French channels. The fully equipped kitchen-diner area includes a ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, and fridge/freezer.

On the first top floor, you will find a spacious and cozy en-suite double bedroom with a shower, wash basin, and toilet. Additionally, there is a large family bedroom with two full-sized single beds that can be joined together if preferred. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower above, wash basin, and toilet. Adjacent to the family bedroom is another bedroom with two single beds.

The property offers a beautiful south-facing panoramic view of the countryside and is surrounded by a 1/2 acre enclosed garden complete with outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and a parasol. Just 900 yards away is the lively village of Percy, where you can find a bakery, butcher, bar-cafés, restaurants, pubs, banks, a tourist office, post office, doctors, and a chemist. It is also a convenient 25-minute drive to the main tourist towns and sandy beaches such as Avranches, Granville, Bréhal, Coutances, and St-Lo.

Directions

If you are coming from Caen, you can reach Percy center by taking Motorway A84 towards Rennes/Mt-St-Michel and then exiting at Nr 38. Continue straight for 9km until you reach Percy center.

If you are coming from Cherbourg, you need to drive to Carentan and then St-Lo before heading towards Villedieu les Poêles on D999. From there, continue on D999 to reach Percy center.

Once you are at Percy center, follow the signs towards Hambye on D58. After traveling for 900 yards, you will see a yellow board on the left side of the road indicating "Gite Joug d'Antan".
