Description for B&B:
Welcome to this large and charming house, dating back to the 1900s, situated in the beautiful and wooded town of Saint-Symphorien de Marmagne, at the foot of the Montagne d'Uchon - also known as the "Pearl of the Morvan".Whether you're interested in fishing (with access to a class 1 river), hiking (along the Celtic pathways), mountain biking (along the Canal de Bourgogne), car circuits (in Torcy) or 4x4 terrain, pilgrimages (to Saint-François d'Assise and Saint-Jacques de Compostelle), or simply looking to catch your breath and relax, this house can accommodate up to 14 guests, providing tranquility, comfort, and relaxation in a friendly atmosphere.
The house offers an independent entrance and private parking, free of charge. Upstairs, you will find four furnished, bright, and pleasant bedrooms, all with a view of the garden. There is a bathroom with a bathtub in the family bedroom and showers in the three double bedrooms. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
Each morning, a varied and hearty breakfast, featuring preferred organic products, is included in the price of the night and served in a dedicated room.
In the surrounding area, you will find numerous establishments offering typical Burgundian cuisine, as well as other options.
Conveniently located halfway between the North and the Côte d'Azur, only 15 minutes from the TGV station (which is 1h30 from Paris or 40 minutes from Lyon) and 1 hour from Beaune by car, you can also take advantage of the many tourist attractions and cultural sites that the region has to offer.
Our guest house provides comfortable accommodations in a beautiful bourgeois residence, full of character, dating back to 1903. It is located in the countryside, within a magnificent and preserved natural setting, at the entrance of the Morvan park and along the route of the pilgrimage paths of Compostelle and St-François d'Assisi. The area is also known for its Romanesque churches.
We are located 14 km from the GTMC, a mythical mountain bike circuit, 18 km from the greenway and EuroVélos6, and 31 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte, labeled as a "Grand Site de France".
Surrounded by the sumptuous and preserved natural territory, rich in the history of Autunois, we are situated 23 km from the vineyards of the Côtes du Couchois and the wine route, 12 km from Le Creusot, 19 km from Autun, 25 km from Montceau-les-Mines, 49 km from Chalon-sur-Saône, and 54 km from Beaune.
Our guest house is the perfect place for a quiet and green stopover in the heart of Burgundy!
