Welcome to our beautifully renovated 18th Century farmhouse. We have meticulously preserved many of the original features while incorporating modern amenities to ensure your comfort. Our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for your stay.

Relax and unwind in our tranquil surroundings. Whether you prefer basking in the sun, finding shade for a peaceful snooze, or enjoying a bottle of wine on the terrace, our farmhouse offers the perfect setting. As your hosts, Carol and Ted will go above and beyond to help you make the most of your time in the picturesque Berry countryside.

Please note that our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of our 2-acre property, adorned with lush landscaping, a variety of trees, and stunning flowering borders. We invite you to take a leisurely stroll through our gardens, which yield a bountiful harvest of fruits and vegetables throughout the year for both our guests and ourselves.

Indulge in a delightful dining experience under the garden pergola, weather permitting. Our evening meals often feature organic and seasonal produce sourced directly from our garden. Rest assured that all meals are freshly prepared, and we are more than happy to accommodate any special dietary needs or provide vegetarian options.

For the convenience of our guests, we offer a pet-friendly room located on the ground floor for easy access. If you plan to bring your well-behaved pet, please inform us in advance, and we will gladly welcome them if our pet-friendly room is available.

Our location provides a perfect blend of serenity and accessibility. Situated near the motorway, Aux Prés du Berry is an ideal destination for a week-long holiday or a convenient stopover for travelers heading to the South of France and the Mediterranean. We are just a 6-hour drive from Calais and a mere 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. Additionally, the Limoges and Poitiers airports can be reached within 1-1.5 hours by car. If you prefer to travel by train, the main route from Paris to Toulouse conveniently stops nearby in the towns of Argenton sur Creuse or Chateauroux.

Surrounded by an array of impressive tourist sites, our farmhouse serves as an excellent base for exploration. The historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse is a short 8 km away, while Chateauroux, the capital of Indre (Department 36), is within a 30 km radius. The Eguzon lake-park and the Three Lakes district, known for their breathtaking views and water sports opportunities, are just a 20-minute drive away. Additionally, the Brenne National Park, a haven for nature enthusiasts, is a stone's throw from our doorstep. We are more than happy to provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your stay in our region and offer assistance in any way we can.

Nous avons passé une bonne soirée conviviale.
Si vous cherchez ou dormir en descendant dans le sud, c'est une bonne adresse (également pour parfaire votre anglais...)

Directions

To get to Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, follow these travel directions:

1. Exit the A20 motorway at junction 17.
2. Look for signs directing you towards Montlucon, La Chatre, Neuvy Saint-Sepulcre, D927.
3. Take the D927 road and continue for approximately 6 km.
4. Look for a small lake on the right side of the road.
5. Just after the lake, there will be an off-road on your right leading to the D30 road towards Chavin.
6. Look for the sign of Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast and turn onto the road.
7. Follow this road for 4 km until you reach a stop.
8. At the stop, turn right into the hamlet of Bonnilly.
9. If you miss the turn on the D927, you will pass a small airport on the right. The next road after that is the new D40 road towards Chavin.
10. The hamlet of Bonnilly is the first one you will reach. If you pass it, you have gone too far.
11. Once in Bonnilly, look for the third street on the right.
12. There will be a sign guiding you down the road.
13. The road may be narrow, but continue until you reach the end.
14. At the end of the road, you will see the sign of Aux Prés du Berry Bed & Breakfast, as well as the Gites de France sign.
