Description:

Description for Gite

"Welcome to 'Le Vieil Aiglun,' a charming village with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. Perched at an impressive altitude of 2,540 ft in the stunning Haute Provence region, this unique location offers breathtaking panoramic views of Provence, the Alps, and the Verdon area. Once abandoned by its inhabitants in the early 20th century, we were inspired to revive the village by acquiring the only habitable buildings in 2002 and transforming them into luxurious self-catering houses, awarded with 3 and 4 stars. Situated between the enchanting landscapes of Provence and the majestic Alps, our peaceful location offers tranquility, while still being conveniently close to a small town with all necessary amenities, including shops and restaurants. Our guests have exclusive access to a large swimming pool (13 x 6 sqm) and a beautiful garden adorned with captivating views of the surrounding fields and an ancient Roman church, which is beautifully illuminated at night. The garden is furnished with an abundance of chairs, armchairs, and hammocks, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind with a good book or simply revel in the stunning panoramic vistas. We look forward to welcoming you to Le Vieil Aiglun!"
