Description for B&B:

Our guesthouse is situated on 13 rue Darnel, tucked behind the theater in Calais. The street itself is lined with stunning early twentieth century mansions, and our guesthouse is one of the two houses with semi-detached doors dating back to 1901. The attic features oeil-de-boeuf windows, adding a touch of bourgeois charm to the property.

Located in the heart of Calais center, our guesthouse is conveniently positioned on the axis of Calais-Nord, connected by the rue Royale. This street leads directly to the bustling Place d'Armes, where you'll find a variety of restaurants and shops just a 16-minute walk away. From our guesthouse, you can easily access all of Calais's attractions, including the theater (1 min), the market on Place Crève-Coeur (9 min), the town hall and its belfry (12 min), and even the beach and the dragon (34 min).

If you're arriving by train, you'll find yourself in close proximity to three different train stations, all within a 15-minute drive. The Calais-Fréthun train station, which serves the Eurostar and TGV, is just 7.5 km away (a 13-minute car journey). The Calais-ville train station and the Fontinettes train station are both within a 12-minute walk (or a 5-minute car ride).

For those looking to explore the city on two wheels, the VÉLIN bike share program is conveniently located next to the theater, just a 2-minute walk from our guesthouse. Additionally, the bus station is situated right in front of our guesthouse, and the Calais buses are free for you to take advantage of during your stay.

Your hosts, Nathalie, Laurent, their daughters, and their four cats, are ready to warmly welcome you. Upon your arrival, they will offer you a refreshing or hot drink. They are dedicated to ensuring your comfort and are happy to provide recommendations and information about Calais and the Opal Coast in French, Dutch, English, or German.
