Welcome to our charming bed and breakfast located in a 16th century manor near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-day beaches. Nestled in the tranquil countryside, our manor farm offers a peaceful and serene environment for your stay. As you approach the property, a picturesque poplar alley leads you to the impressive manor and its authentic farm buildings, including a cider-press and old arches.

Our bed and breakfast accommodations are situated on the first and second floors, accessible via an enchanting spiral stone staircase. We offer five exceptionally comfortable rooms, each featuring queen size beds and even a four-poster bed option. Additionally, we have a suite of two interconnected rooms, providing ample space for up to 15 guests.

Thanks to our central location, you will have easy access to numerous fascinating attractions. Explore "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, embark on a visit to the Channel Islands such as Jersey and Guernesey, or immerse yourself in the history of the D-Day beaches and its iconic monuments, including Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Sainte Mére l'Eglise.

Our historic manor has a rich past, with the main building dating back to the 16th century and its foundations even older. Throughout the 18th century, significant renovations were undertaken, enhancing the manor's grandeur. The property's history extends further to the Gallo-Roman period, as Savigny was once connected to the renowned town of Alauma. Additionally, the old Roman causeway of Cosedia borders our estate, adding to the allure of our surroundings.

My visit here with friends and my Dad was just incredible. The rooms and grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. Rose bushes abound. A trip I will never forget. Our hosts were just great!
