Located on the first floor, this spacious room boasts a high ceiling and is equipped with two comfortable single beds that can be combined to form a double bed. The large, modern private bathroom offers a relaxing experience with its double marble basin, corner bath, and WC. Guests are welcome to use the dining room/reception room on the ground floor and there is a bike park available in the cellar. Please note that the second floor is reserved for the owners' accommodation.

Situated in the heart of a historic village at the foot of the Alpilles, this medieval stone townhouse spans three levels. While there is no garden or swimming pool, we provide everything needed for a peaceful and comfortable night's stay, along with a hearty breakfast to start your day. Our breakfast includes freshly squeezed orange juice, as well as a choice of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. French bread, croissants, butter, jams, honey, and a selection of cheeses and cold meats are also available. Upon request, we can also serve an English breakfast for an additional charge.

In the surrounding area, guests can enjoy various activities such as biking on Mont Ventoux, exploring the charming perched villages of the Luberon, and climbing the cliffs of the Alpilles. Nearby amenities include a supermarket, fruit and vegetable stand, bakery, restaurants, a renowned climbing site, swimming and water skiing locations, tennis courts, hiking trails, dedicated cycle paths, bike rentals, horse riding, golf courses, beaches, and more.

Transportation is convenient with the town having its own train station offering daily services to Marseille and Avignon. If arriving by car, parking just outside the city walls is recommended, while bicycles can be stored inside the house.

As hosts, we live on the second floor but give our guests ample space to enjoy their stay. We are available for any assistance or recommendations you may need and are happy to engage in conversation.

Appréciations pour La Bégude Des Alpilles, Orgon:

Etapes reposante
Review by: Ferretti, Sep 8 2022 9:35AM
Nous avons fait une belle étape très reposante au début de notre périple. La maison est très agréable et la chambre très calme.
Nous en ferons une autre au retour car les échanges avec ce charmant couple sont très enrichissants.

Directions

To reach the village, head towards it from the Avignon, Cavaillon direction. As you arrive at the village, you'll come across a noticeable roundabout on its western side. Take the road D7N and follow it downwards towards the village. After 500 m, you'll notice a left bend, but instead, keep going straight for another 150 m until you reach a mini-roundabout. Take a left turn to go under the portico. After 30 m, keep an eye out for a charming flowery facade on the left side.
