Description for B&B:

Véronique and Jean Pierre Duleux have chosen to reside in the remarkable historical estate known as Domaine de la Carrère, which dates back to the 17th century. This magnificent residence has been inhabited by nobles, merchants, and traders throughout its rich history, having been constructed during the reign of Louis XIV le Grand, also known as the Sun King. Situated in Arthez-de-Béarn, in the Pyrénées Atlantique region, Domaine de la Carrère is perfectly located between the majestic mountains and the alluring sea. It is conveniently centered between the captivating city of Henri IV, PAU, which embodies the finest aspects of French culture, dynamism, and beauty (only 20 minutes away), the glamorous destination of BIARRITZ (a mere 40 minutes away), the breathtaking PYRENEES mountains and SPAIN (just an hour away), and a short 10-minute distance from ORTHEZ. Our photographs showcase two typical spacious bedroom suites, complete with dressing rooms, offering the option of two 4-ft single beds or an antique double bed. Additionally, these suites feature en-suite large shower rooms, equipped with a power shower, double sink unit, toilet, hair dryer, dressing gowns, and toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities, as well as a TV, are provided for your convenience. Should you desire, we offer a delightful Table d'hôtes experience, including aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, wine, and coffee, upon request. Véronique and Jean Pierre warmly welcome you to their home, ensuring your comfort and privacy are respected throughout your stay.
