Travel Directions:

By Air:
There are two airports near Lourdes that you can fly into - Tarbes-Ossun-Lourdes Airport and Pau Airport-Uzein. Alternatively, you can also fly into Toulouse Airport and then take a TGV train to Lourdes from Paris.

By Train:
If you choose to travel by train, you can take the TGV from Paris to Tarbes and then continue on to Lourdes.

Getting to Lourdes by Car:
Please note that the two main access roads to the main shrines in Lourdes are one-way streets, which change direction every 15 days. If you are traveling to Lourdes from the city center between the 1st and 15th of the month, take the Rue de la Grotte. However, if you are traveling between the 16th and 30/31st of the month, take the Boulevard de la Grotte. Before you arrive, make sure to check the direction of traffic flow for the day of your arrival.

By Bus:
There are bus shuttles available from the station (Citybus), which run every 15 minutes. These shuttles will take you to the Grotto, hotels, and the station. The price for a one-way trip is 1.20 euros per person, and for a return trip, it is 2.20 euros per person. The bus operates from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with extended hours until 10:30 pm in July and August.

Where to Park:
If you are traveling by car, there are several parking options near the Sanctuary. Some of the closest parking areas include Paradise Esplanade and Esplanade of Arrouza. There are also covered parking lots available, such as Municipal Parking Peyramale and Municipal Parking Merlasse. Additionally, there are various fee-based parking lots near the Sanctuary, including Parking Boissarie, Rue du Docteur Boissarie, Quai St Jean, Sainte Marie, Place de la Merlasse, Careers Peyramale Street, Avenue du Paradis, Paradise Esplanade Parking, From Equality, Rémi Sempé Avenue, and Bishop Avenue.
