Julie and Aurélien warmly welcome you to the Lodging house of the Bargemen, a charming building that dates back partially to the 15th and 18th centuries. Located on the quays of the former harbor, just twenty meters from the banks of the Loire River, this character-filled establishment is situated in the heart of the city of Chalonnes-sur-Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The authenticity of the building and the tranquil atmosphere of its garden and terrace, which offer a fantastic view of the Loire River, will surely captivate you. After undergoing several months of renovation, the Lodging house of the Bargemen is now ready to welcome guests with its carefully decorated interior that respects the charm of the surrounding environment.

The main house of the building consists of three guest houses, each uniquely decorated with great attention to detail. Additionally, there is a fully renovated Holiday Cottage of the Boatmen available for a comfortable and unrestricted stay.

Conveniently located near various amenities, you will enjoy strolling to the diverse restaurants, bars, and markets (which are the largest in Maine-et-Loire, with over a hundred vendors and taking place on Tuesdays and Saturdays) as well as the shops of Chalonnes-sur-Loire.

This charming cottage is the perfect choice for families, friends, or groups of up to six people. With its fully equipped kitchen including an induction plate, oven, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, you'll have everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Additionally, guests have free access to the laundry room for washing and drying.

The first floor of the cottage offers a spacious living room, a bedroom with a comfortable double bed (160x200) and a single bed (80x200), a shower room, and a separate toilet. On the second floor, there is another bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (80x200).

Outside, you can unwind in the beautiful wooded garden and relax on the terraces that overlook the Loire River. Make the most of your stay by taking part in the numerous activities available in the region.
