"The Fraysse Farmhouse" is a charming and characterful cottage located in the beautiful region of Corrèze. This detached house, restored in 2011, offers all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay and provides an ideal setting for relaxation.

For those who appreciate tranquility and nature, this character house is nestled in a small hamlet in Corrèze, close to the stunning Gorges of the Dordogne. The house has preserved its charm with its thick stone walls, traditional inglenook fireplace, typical bassière of the area, exposed beams, and slate roof.

The 30m2 living room is centered around the traditional fireplace equipped with a stove, and features a large plasma TV, DVD player, and stereo. We also provide wireless internet for your convenience. The kitchen, which is open to the living room, is fully equipped with modern appliances such as an oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and kitchen utensils.

The house has three bedrooms, including one with a double bed, one with a double bed and a single bed (wrought iron sofa), and a small room with a single bed. The bathroom is equipped with two basins and a bath with a tropical rain shower. Baby equipment such as a cot, highchair, bath, changing mat, potty, and bottle warmer are also available.

Pets are allowed in the house, but please inform the owner in advance. We kindly request that guests refrain from smoking inside the house and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly using the provided ashtrays.

The house is surrounded by a large enclosed garden of 2000m², which is enclosed by a dry stone wall. The garden offers various amenities such as two lounges, a parasol, a barbecue, a playground, and badminton equipment.

Whether you are planning a family holiday or a trip with friends, our house provides the perfect base for rest and relaxation, as well as outdoor activities and exploration. Nearby attractions include Sédières Castle, Gimel waterfalls, Argentat-sur-Dordogne, the medieval discovery center in Egletons, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Tours de Merle, the medieval farm in Xaintrie, the President Chirac museum in Sarran, and Tulle. For those willing to travel a bit further, there are additional attractions such as the Aubazine monastery, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Turenne, Padirac, Pompadour, Rocamadour, Lascaux Cave, the Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes, Sarlat, Figeac, Salers, and Aurillac.
