Exclusively reserved for our guests, you will enjoy a spacious room (>25 m²) with high exposed roof beams, tastefully furnished with antique pieces. Each room has its own impeccable private shower room and toilet.

In addition to your room, you will have access to a large lounge with a library featuring books in English, French, and German, as well as a hall filled with tourist information. A private entry and garden provide a tranquil space for relaxation.

After a restful night's sleep surrounded by nature, indulge in a delicious breakfast featuring homemade delights and served in the lounge with views overlooking the park. In the afternoon, take advantage of the peaceful surroundings of Joreau. Read a book, sample fruits from the orchard, or unwind in the hammock beneath a majestic old tree.

For dinner, you can choose to dine at one of the lovely nearby restaurants or stay at Joreau. We offer a gourmet plate with wine and coffee by prior arrangement, or you can utilize our basic kitchen facility in the lounge.

Our ensuite room, "Cremant de Loire," is perfect for a relaxed family holiday, offering a double and twin room with a private shower room. The spacious "Saumur Champigny" room, at 26 m², provides ample space for you to feel at home. The comfortable beds, measuring 0.90 x 1.90 m, can be arranged as either a king size bed or two singles, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The tasteful decor is complemented by an antique wardrobe and two armchairs. The private bathroom with separate toilet has been recently renovated.

The Farm of Joreau is a charming holiday home that combines modern comfort and cozy decoration with traditional architecture. With its stunning touffe stone, slate, terra cotta tiles, old wood parquet, and ceiling, this spacious accommodation can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people. The house has undergone a complete renovation in May 2006, ensuring a contemporary and well-maintained interior.

Located on a beautiful property, the Farm of Joreau boasts a large south-facing terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. Additionally, guests have access to a private 800 m² garden with picturesque views of the surrounding woods. If you're traveling with children, they will love playing in the sandbox and on the swing, while you can unwind with a glass of wine.

Upon entering the house, you will find a cozy living room with a fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Continuing on, there is a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare delicious meals during your stay. On the upper floor, under the charming roof, you will discover two bedrooms - one with a double bed (160*200 cm) and another with twin beds (80*200 cm). There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Rest assured, the beds will be prepared for your arrival. If you are traveling with a baby, a cot and high chair can be provided upon prior arrangement. As an added bonus, firewood is provided free of charge.

The Farm of Joreau is ideally located in Gennes, a charming village on the border of the Loire River. It is conveniently situated just 15 km (<10 miles) from Saumur and Doué-la-Fontaine, and 30 km (<20 miles) from Angers. Shopping facilities are less than 1 km (0.5 miles) away and are open 7 days a week, ensuring convenience during your stay.

Surrounded by the magnificent Loire-Anjou-Touraine regional nature reserve, the Farm of Joreau serves as an excellent starting point for cultural, gastronomic, and nature-related excursions suitable for all ages. Découvert pas hasard sur Internet, nous y retournons chaque année depuis 2008 pour un court séjour. C'est un endroit vraiment agréable, tant par le lieu, le confort et l'accueil, où il n'y a jamais rien à redire. Si vous passez par là, n'hésitez pas une minute.

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern 2 wunderschöne Tage bei Fam. Schewe verbracht. Der Empfang ist ganz persönlich, Frau Schewe hat uns sehr gute Tipps zum Weinkauf gegeben und die Kinder hatten sofort Anschluss.
Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll ausgestattet, das Frühstück eine schöne Mischung aus franz. und dt. Art und der Garten lädt einfach zum Entspannen ein.
