The Orri, also known as our guesthouse, is a charming old stone farmhouse that has undergone a complete renovation. With its transformation, it now offers a comfortable accommodation for up to 24 people spread across 9 rooms.The available rooms include:
- 3 two-room suites, with a full bath shared between every two rooms.
- 1 double room featuring a private bath.
- 1 room designed to accommodate up to four people, equipped with a queen size bed and a bunk bed. This room also includes a private bath specially adapted for the handicapped.
- 1 room suitable for up to six people, furnished with two single beds and two bunk beds. This room also has a private bath.
Additionally, The Orri provides several communal spaces for guests to enjoy. These include a stone and wood dining room, complete with a fireplace and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. There is also a cozy living room with a library and sitting area, perfect for relaxation. Furthermore, a children's corner is available, stocked with toys, games, and books to keep the little ones entertained.
For dining options, guests have the choice to partake in a buffet breakfast and a family-style dinner. The menu consists of international cuisine crafted from organic and locally sourced ingredients. These meal options are optional and can be arranged upon request.
During the summer season, guests are granted access to the solar-heated swimming pool located on the premises, providing a refreshing escape from the heat.

Welcome to The Refugi, our hikers lodge! This brand new building, made of stone and wood, has been carefully designed to seamlessly blend with the neighboring Orri. It is the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate the warm and welcoming ambiance of a mountain refuge.Our lodge offers a very comfortable dormitory that can accommodate up to 16 people. Additionally, we provide a convenient self-service kitchen and dining room where you can prepare and enjoy your meals. On the lower level, you will find well-maintained toilets and showers for your convenience. We also have a small laundry room and ample storage space for your skis, bicycles, and other equipment.
From June to September, The Refugi operates as a hikers lodge. During this period, beds are rented individually, and all guests share the common spaces. Everyone has access to the kitchen, dining area, toilets, and showers, and we kindly ask all occupants to collectively take responsibility for keeping these areas clean. Outside of this season, our lodge transforms into a self-catering group accommodation. You can rent the entire lodge for weekends (minimum 2 nights) or for a full week.

L'Orri de Planes es una casa rural ecologica a Planes, Francia. Hemos pasado unos dias en la casa rural. Muy adecuada para unos dias de descanso en pareja o con la familia en este lugar paradisiaco. Las habitaciones y la comida son excelentes. La atencion de los propietarios es fantastica y la estancia es de las que no se olvidan.
Directions
To reach Planès, you can take the highway from Toulouse, which will take you through the Puymorens tunnel and requires approximately 3 hours of travel time. Another option is to drive from Barcelona, using the Cadí Tunnel, which takes about 2.5 hours. If you are coming from Perpignan, you can take highway N116, and the journey will take around 1.5 hours.
Once you arrive in Planès, you will find the town located at the end of local highway D32. To reach the Orri de Planès, which is situated in the upper part of the town, you need to head towards the group of houses known as Cases del Mitg (houses in the middle). The Orri de Planès is conveniently located just above these houses, right across from the cheese farm and the church.
