Welcome to the Furnished 3-star Gîte "On the Edge of the Cher," situated in the heart of the historic center of SAINT AIGNAN and only 4 minutes away from the renowned BEAUVAL zoo. Whether you're planning a short visit to the zoo or a few days exploring the beautiful Loire Valley and its castles, our charming cottage is the perfect choice.

With a surface area of 78 m2, our cottage can accommodate up to 5 persons comfortably. We also provide an extra bed for a child and a cot upon request, free of charge.

The cottage features a stylish entrance with a staircase leading to the upper floor. The charming lounge, decorated in colonial red and grey, offers a cozy space with a TV/DVD corner and a dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction plate, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, and a Senseo coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods. Please note that only frying type cooking is not allowed.

The patio/laundry room is beautifully decorated and includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a WC.

There are two independent rooms in the cottage. The master bedroom is furnished with a single bed (140 x 190), while the secondary room is equipped with a bunk bed suitable for a child's room (90 x 190 + 140 x 190) or a maximum of 3 persons. The bathroom on the upper floor features a shower, hanging toilet, and a comfort white satin washbasin.

Upon arrival, we kindly request a deposit of €200 in the form of a check. Additionally, there is a visitor's tax of €0.88 per adult, with minors exempted.

We also offer optional services, such as bed linen and bath towel rental/washing and set up for €5 per person, as well as a household package for €40.

Saint Aignan is a charming medieval town with winding and cobbled streets. The architecture of its old houses, built with tufa stone, beard, and half-timbered structures, is truly captivating. Don't miss the 12th-century collegiate church and its crypt with pictorial frescoes, which are unique attractions in the city.

During your stay, make sure to visit the Château de Saint Aignan for breathtaking views and photo opportunities. Take a leisurely stroll along the Cher River for relaxation and enjoy the "Saint Aignan Beach Islands" where swimming is allowed, along with a Guinguette and games for children.

All necessary amenities, such as restaurants, a bakery (perfect for breakfast), a bank, a tobacco shop, a cinema, and a grocery store, are conveniently located near the Gîte.
