Il Monticello
Review by: Ciobanu, Oct 3 2009 7:05PM
The B&B is well located in a beautiful setting, close to the city but still very quiet. Everything is tastefully decorated. Gucky, the owner, makes you feel at home.

Directions

To reach your destination, follow these travel directions:

Exit the A8 toll way at junction 42, following the signs for Cannes-Centre, Mouans-Sartoux, Mougins, Le Cannet, and Grasse. Take the N85, also known as La Penetrante, in the direction of Grasse. Leave the N85 at the Mouans-Sartoux exit. Upon reaching the exit roundabout, turn right onto the first street, Route de la Roquette, heading towards Mouans-Sartoux. Continue on this street until you reach the end, where you will find a roundabout and a McDonald's on your right. Turn left onto N2085/Avenue de Cannes. Stay on this street, passing a small roundabout located just after the La Strada movie theatre. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right onto Avenue Marcel Joumet. Continue until you come across a railway crossing. Immediately after crossing the railway, turn left and take the D404, following the signs for Plascassier and Valbonne. After the second curve, as you leave Mouans-Sartoux and pass the city limits sign, you will notice a small concrete lane separator in the middle of the road. Turn left at this point onto Chemin du Plan. After traveling 1.5 km, the street's name will change to Chemin du Collet de St Marc. Keep going until you reach number 77 on your right, just after a hangar/shed on the left side of the road. Take the lane and drive all the way up for 200 meters. Our house, an old stone house, is located at the end of the lane on the left side.
