Additionally, we provide a bathroom adorned with an antique bath, an invigorating Italian shower, and a WC. Furthermore, we proudly serve breakfasts featuring fresh and locally sourced products.

Experience the enchanting beauty of the Carcassonne and Canal du Midi, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, just a few kilometers away from our charming 17th century cottage, "Au fil de l'eau". This completely renovated gem welcomes you to a picturesque setting, nestled by the river and at the gateway to Montolieu, a delightful village known for its love of books.

Step into a character-filled living/dining room adorned with a cozy fireplace and a comfortable convertible sofa. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a vaulted carved stone ceiling, opens up to a sunny terrace of 30m2. From here, marvel at the breathtaking views of the river and garden.

Our cottage offers two inviting double bedrooms with a 1m60 and 1m40 bed respectively. The bathroom is a blend of rustic charm and modern convenience, boasting an antique bath, Italian shower, and WC.

Stay connected with our free WIFI connection, enjoy a BBQ on the terrace, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or engage in a friendly game of boules. For fishing enthusiasts, trout fishing is available right on site. Additionally, guests have access to the municipal swimming pool and tennis courts just 1km away.

Je conseille vivement de passer des vacances chez Sabine et Bart. La maison est atypique. La terrasse est enivrante. La nature est exceptionnelle.
Sabine nous reçoit à merveille. Tout est prêt dès notre arrivée. Pour bien commencer les vacances, elle nous reçoit avec une petite attention. Sabine est toujours à l'écoute pour trouver une solution (location de voiture) et propose des activités intéressantes.
A ne pas manquer.

Directions

To travel from Carcassonne to Toulouse, take the RN113 road and pass through Pezens. Afterward, make a right turn towards Moussoulens. At the roundabout in Moussoulens, follow the signs for Montolieu. Once you reach Montolieu, continue towards Alzonne. The house you are looking for is located a bit ahead, on the left side, just before the bridge.
