Welcome to our guest house for rent in Charente Maritime, located near the beautiful coastal city of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast. This independent guesthouse offers a high level of comfort and is situated within a closed property surrounded by trees and a large swimming pool.

The guesthouse is suitable for up to four people and spans 60 square meters. The spacious and well-exposed living room includes a cozy lounge area with a TV and a fireplace, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The living room opens onto a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, complete with comfortable armchairs for sunbathing.

There are two bedrooms in the guesthouse, one with a 140cm bed and the other with two 90cm beds. Additionally, there is a bathroom and separate toilet.

The house is located in the small village of Poléon, which is part of the Saint Georges du Bois commune and is situated near Surgères, where you can find a TGV train station and all necessary amenities. The vibrant city of La Rochelle is only 30km away, as well as Rochefort. Paris is approximately 400km away via the toll road.

Poléon is situated on the border of the renowned "Green Venise," a picturesque area of the Marais-Poitevin. The charming island of Île de Ré is also just a 30-minute drive away, offering a lovely local harbor and beautiful sandy beaches.

During your stay, you can enjoy various activities both on-site and in the surrounding area. On-site, you can swim in the 12m x 6m swimming pool, play ping-pong, pétanque, and partake in other outdoor activities. You can also explore the Aunis county by foot or bicycle, and there are tennis courts and horse riding facilities available nearby in Saint Georges du Bois.

In the surrounding area, you can visit the famous Venise Verte and enjoy boat, canoe, or bike excursions. The nearby beaches offer a wide range of activities, such as sailing, surfing, and funboarding. There are also options for bowling, fishing, karting, and an 18-hole golf course nearby.

For day trips, you can explore the islands of Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron by car or take a boat trip to Île d'Aix and visit Fort Boyard.
