This house is filled with spacious and comfortable architecture, offering beautiful views of the forest to the south. It is located in a peaceful and green setting, yet still close to the village center. Children will enjoy the nearby playground, and hiking enthusiasts will appreciate that the first trails are just 100 meters away. There are two parking spaces available, as well as a lovely garden with flowers and trees, outdoor games, a large terrace with a garden table, chairs, and a gas barbecue.

In the village of Illfurth, only 300 meters from the cottage, you will find a charming bakery, a friendly butcher, a newsagent and small grocery store, a traditional restaurant called "Le Coq," an Irish pub, and a Carrefour supermarket. There are also two additional restaurants (Kebab and Pizzeria), a cheese shop, a pharmacy, four hairdressers, a library, three doctors, three dentists, two physiotherapists, a chiropodist, and a delightful little market on Thursday mornings. There is even a bicycle repair shop.

This rental property is spacious and filled with light, making it the perfect base for exploring Alsace, Switzerland, and Germany. It can accommodate up to six people and features a large south-facing balcony, a patio, and a 500m2 enclosed garden.

Altkirch is located approximately 15 minutes away from the center of Mulhouse TGV station, where you can visit the expo park and car museum. If you are coming from the Euro-airport Basel in Switzerland, it will take you around 35 minutes to reach Altkirch via Freiburg and Mulhouse. You can also reach Altkirch by taking the A35 road and it will take you approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to Strasbourg, arriving at 1 pm. Colmar, famous for its wine route and the impressive High Koenigsbourg Castle, is only 35 minutes away from Altkirch. If you are interested in skiing, there is a ski resort just 30 minutes away. Additionally, it will take you 45 minutes to reach Freiburg in Germany and the Laguna Water Park in Germany.
