Description:

Description for B&B:

Experience the enchanting allure of our family-owned establishment, where our distinctive charm awaits. Allow us to guide you through the vast premises, showcasing its magnificent architecture, including a remarkable horseshoe structure, and the adjacent property that hosts a model farm dating back to the late 19th century.

Our patio holds a significant historical significance, as it witnessed the momentous meeting between King George V, President Poincaré, Joffre, and Foch General as they prepared for the decisive counter-offensive during the Battle of the Somme. It was here that Sir Douglas Haig, selecting the Valvion as his headquarters in August 1916, held the conference which led to the signing of the Doullens Agreement, establishing sole command.

We offer a spacious and fully renovated 28m² room, ideal for accommodating 2 or 3 guests, located on the first floor of our residence. The room features an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and separate toilet. Additionally, we provide comfortable bedding, a television, WiFi access, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and a dining area. Bed linen and towels are included, and we can provide an additional bed in the same room if required. Furthermore, a complimentary cot is available upon request.

Guests can enjoy a separate entrance, ensuring a peaceful and delightful stay, along with a picturesque view of the surroundings. Our inclusive breakfast can be savored on the terrace, weather permitting, or in the owners' dining room (only on weekends), or even in the comfort of your room if preferred.

Please note that the rate for a single guest is $55 per night, $60 per night for two people, and $70 per night for three individuals. We also offer a 10% discount for stays of three nights or more. Photographs of our accommodations are available upon request.

Directions

To reach the destination in Beauquesne, follow these revised travel directions:

If you are already in Beauquesne, head towards Raincheval on the D31. Once you are out of the village, keep going for about 1km until you reach a path on the right. Look for a sign that says "orchards of Valvion." Take this path and continue until you reach a road. At this point, make a left turn and enter the courtyard of the large house.

If you are coming from Amiens on the D31, make sure to bypass the direction towards Beauquesne when you reach Puchevillers. Instead, continue straight ahead for about 2km. Then, take a left turn and proceed for another 300m until you reach a road. Look for the sign that says "orchards of Valvion." The destination, located at the end of chemin, is the big house. Enter the courtyard to complete your journey.
