Description for B&B:

Built in 1680, La Ferme du Chateau is a unique and charming farmhouse that offers catered chalet accommodation. Located in the picturesque village of La Chapelle dAbondance, guests can enjoy a blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. With its central location, it is convenient for various activities, as well as bars, shops, and restaurants.

Our farmhouse provides 5-star quality accommodation at an affordable price. With six ensuite bedrooms, each offering the flexibility of twin or king-size double beds, and the ability to accommodate additional beds comfortably, we can accommodate up to 18 guests. All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with luxurious amenities such as 5-star hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, dressing gowns, hairdryers, and iPod docking stations. Additionally, all bedrooms have access to a south-facing balcony, with one bedroom having its own private balcony. To enhance relaxation after a day of activities, we also have a sunken hot tub on the lower balcony.

The living and dining area is exceptionally spacious, featuring a central wood-clad open fire. With six large sofas, a TV area, a cosy reading snug, a dining area, and a separate south-facing balcony, there is plenty of room to unwind and enjoy a drink or two.

At La Ferme du Chateau, we believe in providing excellent food and wine. During the winter season, we offer a cooked English breakfast and afternoon tea every day, along with a 4-course evening meal with wine on six nights. On one evening, we give our guests the opportunity to explore the local restaurants. We also provide an option for an early children's supper.

As an owner-run chalet, we strive to ensure that you have the holiday experience you desire. From the moment you arrive at Geneva, we take care of everything for you, including ski hire, ski passes, refreshments at the chalet, daily pick-up and drop-off from the slopes, transportation to après-ski bars, and organizing various activities such as trips to the thermal center and ski lessons.

We offer flexibility in our services. During the winter, the farmhouse is available on a catered basis for holidays and breaks of three or more days. In the summer, we offer self-catered, bed and breakfast, and half-board options, which include breakfast, afternoon tea, and a three-course evening meal with wine.

La Ferme du Chateau is also an ideal venue for special events such as weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings like management training courses, senior management meetings, and team building exercises.

Whether you are planning a winter or summer holiday or a special event, our team at Savoie Faire will be there to assist you in organizing everything, ensuring you can relax and enjoy your time with us.
