Sixt Fer à Cheval, a village located near Samoens, Morillon, and Verchaix, is situated in the Valley High Giffre in the Alps. This picturesque valley, positioned halfway between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, offers a wealth of attractions. To reach Sixt Fer à Cheval, there are several options:

1. From Geneva Cointrin Airport or the train station, head towards Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport or the train station.
2. From Lyon, take the Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport or the train station.
3. From Annecy train station, proceed by road.

If traveling by road, follow these steps:
1. Take the A40 motorway towards Chamonix (Exit Cluses towards Morillon Samoens).
2. Continue on the main road D4.
3. Upon reaching Samoens, take the main road D907 towards Sixt Fer à Cheval.
4. After passing through a vast plain called Vallon, you will come across a small hamlet called Perret (consisting of three or four houses).
5. After a few turns, you will see a small road on the left, in front of a chapel. Take this road that leads towards Mount and continue until the end.
6. Along the way, you will pass through a charming village called Balme top and a beautiful forest.
7. Finally, you will arrive at Mount, where Sixt Fer à Cheval is located.
