Welcome to our Holiday cottage in Arces-sur-Gironde, a charming rural village in the beautiful Charente Maritime - Royan Hill Country. Located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, our cottage is just 4 km away from the sea, with the nearest beaches being 8 km away.

We are delighted to offer various amenities for families with babies, including a free baby cot, mattress, bath, bottle warmer, stroller for ages 0-3, baby diaper, and highchair.

There are plenty of activities and attractions to enjoy in the region. From visiting the famous Palmyre zoo, exploring mountain bike trails, and indulging in hydrotherapy at Saujon spa, to experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Rochelle and Franco follies, playing golf at the renowned 18-hole course, and enjoying water sports and tennis, there is something for everyone. Additionally, you can explore the rich cultural heritage of the area, including historic towns like Royan, Saint Palais sur Mer, and Vaux sur Mer, as well as archaeological sites and natural wonders.

Charente-Maritime is the second most popular tourist destination in France, thanks to its exceptional villages, cultural landmarks, and a wide range of sports and recreational activities. The region is also known for its gastronomy, offering a variety of specialties and local wines such as Pineau, Cognac, and Charente wine.

With a privileged micro-climate boasting approximately 2600 hours of sunshine per year, our region is perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We offer special rates for curists, with a 10% discount for stays of 3 consecutive weeks, excluding July and August. We accept checks and pets under certain conditions. Linen rental and additional services are available at an extra cost.

Conveniently located near shops and markets, with WiFi internet and phone access, our cottage provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. For more information, including rates, photos, availability, and rental terms, please contact us.

During the winter period (October to April), heating costs will be added to the rental price. We provide practical information booklets about our cottage and local tourism for your convenience.

Description for Gite

This property is a detached terraced house with a private garden and parking. It was built in 1994 and has an area of 66m². The house is located in the countryside but offers a view of the sea. It features two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, a bathroom with a shower, and a living room with a sofa bed. The property also includes amenities such as a smoke detector for safety. Outside, there is a landscaped garden with a barbecue, outdoor furniture, and a bike rack. Free Wi-Fi and unlimited phone usage for landlines are provided. Additionally, baby equipment such as a stroller, cot, and high chair are available upon request. Optional services include bed linen, towels, table linen, cleaning upon departure, and beds made upon arrival for an additional fee.

Le Gite a été parfais pour notre petite famille. 2 Adultes et 2 enfants avec tout confort. Quoi demander de plus car les plages ne sont pas loin et ont pas eu les désagrements du bord de mer avec son affluence.
