Nestled in the heart of the Languedoc region, near Carcassonne, Trèbes, Narbonne, and the Canal du Midi, the château makes for an ideal starting point to explore the area. Guests can visit the famous Cité de Carcassonne and its 18-hole golf course, as well as the beautiful abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse, relax on the beaches in Narbonne, or explore the vibrant regional markets. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy walking or biking excursions, as well as canoeing and kayaking adventures. Alternatively, guests can simply indulge in wine tasting and visit local winemakers. Situated on the outskirts of the charming village of Blomac, the château boasts a magnificent 5-hectare park adorned with centuries-old trees, providing a peaceful ambiance accompanied by the melody of cicadas. The park also features pathways adorned with statues and a 7x13-meter swimming pool. Guests have the option to enjoy their breakfast or dinner (table d’hôte) on the veranda, offering breathtaking views, or in the delightful orangery.

Experience peace, tranquility, and privacy at our spacious and detached holiday house. The 110sqm property, renovated in 2009, offers a separate entrance and parking space. Situated just 60 yards from the castle and on the edge of a 12.5-acre castle garden, you can enjoy leisurely strolls in picturesque surroundings.

Inside, the house boasts modern luxury and comfort, with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. However, it still exudes the charm and elegance of a bygone era. A large patio with a pergola and a generous private garden (over 220 sqm) provide the perfect setting for outdoor dining, enjoying a glass of wine, or hosting a barbecue (garden and barbecue facilities available). Entertainment is never an issue, with a variety of games, table tennis, and a TV.

For added enjoyment, guests have access to the castle's swimming pool (7x13, heated) in the park. The climate in this area is mild in winter and warm in summer, with many locals even dining outside on Christmas day. With approximately 300 sunny days a year, this region offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Narbonne beach (45 km) and the Bize-Minervois lake (29 km) are nearby for those seeking sun and water activities, while canoeing is available just 3 km away.

Walking and cycling enthusiasts will find numerous routes, some starting right from the holiday home.
