Description for B&B:

Located near the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park, just an hour away from the stunning gorges of Ardeche and the Chauvet cave, the Little Convent of the Benedictines was built in 1346 by Lord Bermond of Anduze. Situated on the outskirts of Chomérac in the lush valley of Payre, this charming accommodation is nestled between the magnificent mountains and the basaltic Coiron Grads limestone. The area is known for its extensive network of trails, and the owners of the Little Convent will gladly assist you in exploring them.

The village itself is a perfect example of the unique charm found in this part of Ardèche, which is closer to the Rhone Valley. Nearby attractions include the quaint hamlet of Taverna, the small Romanesque church of St-Martin-le-Supérieur, the picturesque Lavezon Valley, and the remarkable villages of Meysse and Saint-Vincent-du-Barres.

Your stay at the Little Convent or its annexes will provide you with the freedom to enjoy the tranquility and comfort offered. Located just 800m from the village center and shops, the accommodation is situated next to the peaceful Véronne river, surrounded by the artistic creations of the owners - an actress, an artist, a doctor, and a sculptor.

The double rooms, complete with ensuite bathrooms and toilets, provide a refined level of comfort and a peaceful ambiance. A delicious breakfast is included, and dinner can be arranged for an additional fee of 25 per person. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to book a time slot to enjoy the heated indoor pool and jacuzzi individually.

To the east, in the annexes above the pool, a room of 25 m² awaits. It features a large bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and offers a tranquil view of the gardens.

In the center of the annexes, also above the pool, a spacious 45 m² room with vaulted ceilings provides a large bed and a sitting area. This room also offers the option of accommodating 2 additional beds for an extra charge. It has a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Inside the convent, on the upper floor, a charming vaulted room of 15 m² awaits. It features a large bed and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. This room overlooks the peaceful inner courtyard.

Free parking is available in the garden, although a closed garage is also available for an additional fee if needed.
