This country cottage is the perfect retreat for up to eight people. It is an approved accommodation by "Gite de France" with a 3-star rating. The charming building, made of stone, dates back to the 17th century and has recently undergone a complete renovation. Nestled in the beautiful town of St. Margaret of Elle, it is situated on a spacious enclosed area between Bayeux and St Lo. Its location is ideal for exploring the famous landing beaches, the Regional Park of Cotentin and Bessin, as well as other attractions in the area such as the Bay of Veys and Mount St. Michel.

The cottage offers a range of activities for guests to enjoy. Nature enthusiasts can embark on scenic hikes, horseback or bicycle rides through the picturesque groves and villages along the Vire. For those seeking relaxation, the St Lo aquatic center provides a perfect escape. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at nearby courses, while fishing enthusiasts can try their luck in the nearby waters. Additionally, guests can explore the rich heritage of the region and enjoy various games and activities for children.

Inside the cottage, guests will find a comfortable and well-equipped space. On the ground floor, there is an entrance, a spacious 25 m2 kitchen, a 40 m2 living room with sofas and armchairs, a separate living area, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms, including five single beds and two double beds, another bathroom, and two additional toilets. The cottage is equipped with modern amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine, interior and exterior dryer, wall oven, ceramic hob, electric heating, and a stove.

The rates for renting this cottage are as follows: during the high season, the weekly rate is €550, in the mid-season it is €385, and in the low season, it is €290. For shorter stays, the weekend rate is €190, and the midweek rate is €240. There is also the option to rent the cottage on a monthly basis. Additional charges apply for water, electricity, and heating during specific periods: from November 1 to April 30, the charge is €25 per week, and from May 1 to October 31, it is €15 per week. An additional fee of €10 per week is required for bringing a pet.

For added convenience, bed linen and towels can be provided for a fee of €10 per person, and the beds can be made prior to arrival. There is also the option to have the end of stay cleaning taken care of for an additional fee of €35.

If you plan on traveling by train, the closest train station is Lison station, which is situated 3 km away. This station offers direct routes to Caen, Cherbourg, and Paris.

If you prefer traveling by road from either Caen or Cherbourg, take the N12 and head towards Ballymena, Saint Lo, and Cerizy Forest. To reach your destination, take exit 37a.
