Located in the Prunelli Valley, just 20km from Ajaccio, Casa Chiesa della Vigna is a peaceful and relaxing guest house in the village of Cauro. It is conveniently situated 15 minutes away from the beaches, 20 minutes from the mountains, and 5 minutes from the river. Our guest house offers two air-conditioned rooms on the left side of the house. One room is Asian-inspired, with a maximum capacity of 3 people, featuring a fresh and zen design in beige, white, and gray. The other room is African-inspired, accommodating 2 people, with a warmer ambiance in orange tones, red, and wood. Both rooms share a common bathroom and separate toilet. Guests can also enjoy our breakfast table, where they can savor regional cuisine made with quality products from the region and our garden. In addition, our fully equipped kitchen is available for guests to prepare their own meals. The garden and surroundings of our house are at your disposal for relaxation and walks. Children can also enjoy outdoor games. A pleasant stay is guaranteed!

The Asian room can accommodate an additional person in a 90cm extra bed for an additional cost of 20 euros. We also welcome small children (up to 3 years old) with their own cot, turning the room into a family suite for 4 people (cot provided by us at an extra cost of 5 euros). The African room is exclusively for 2 people.

Casa Chiesa della Vigna is ideally located between the sea and the mountains, offering a day tour that allows you to enjoy the wonders of Corsica. Whether through simple walks, hikes, or discovering the region's heritage and the joys of swimming, our guest house provides a perfect starting point. Starting from Casa Chiesa della Vigna, you can head towards Bastelica and Val d'Ese (D27), passing through the beautiful Pineta forest (pine larriccio) and taking a 15-minute stroll to admire the Genoese bridge in our valley. Bastelica, the hometown of the famous Sampiero Corso, a colonel in the French army of François 1st, can be explored through a heritage trail or circuit. For the more adventurous, the Ese plateau offers several hiking trails and the opportunity to visit the "pozzi." On the way back to Cauro, you can enjoy the breathtaking gorges of Prunelli, our river valley.

Don't miss the opportunity to admire the magnificent view of the village of Tolla and its lake. A visit to this village is a must, where you can enjoy water sports, picnic areas, playgrounds, and swimming. Before leaving, take a moment to admire the dam, which will surely impress you. Finally, head towards Bastelicaccia and Huerta to join the N196, or make your way to Ajaccio to admire the famous sunset of the Sanguinary Islands or enjoy a night swim on one of the stunning beaches of Porticcio. After this day filled with exploration, you will understand why the Greeks named Corsica Kallisté.

Description for Gite

Our guest house offers a spacious and air-conditioned 40 m2 house on the lower part of the left wing. It can comfortably accommodate four people and features a main room with a modern kitchenette equipped with all necessary appliances. The kitchen includes a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, and food processor. The main room also has a lounge area with a TV that can be used as additional sleeping space on a bz for two people. The house includes a separate bedroom with a 140 bed and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

You will have access to a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue grills, perfect for enjoying delicious meals in both summer and winter. Additionally, you are welcome to join us for dinner at our table. The village offers various shops, including bars, restaurants, pizzerias, grocery stores, and a bread depot. There is also a doctor and a post office nearby. With our great location, we guarantee a wonderful stay and numerous opportunities for exploration.

Located in Cauro village in the Prunelli valley, our new villa "Babbu u" is currently undergoing renovation and will be available in May 2015. The villa, a family house type F3 with an area of 90 m2, is being completely transformed into a more modern space with white and gray plaster and entirely new joinery. It will feature two bedrooms with double beds and ample storage space, one in shades of blue and taupe with a blend of modern and antique elements, and the other in a romantic green theme. There is also a room converted into a sleeping area with a colorful stainless steel bunk bed, ideal for two children. The dining room is bright and welcoming with a country chic atmosphere and a corner TV. There is also a sofa bed, a high table that can accommodate eight people, and an indoor fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The modern kitchen includes a dining area and is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and various small appliances. The bathroom includes a toilet.

To enjoy the shade and coolness, there is an arbor attached to the house that serves as an extension and includes a laundry room with a sink, washing machine, and water heater, as well as an additional toilet. There is a large garden table for outdoor dining away from the sun, as well as a garden terrace with sun loungers and a barbecue for delicious summer meals. Parking is available on the property. Guests and tenants are welcome to use our above ground pool, swing, table tennis, boules, and badminton equipment, following hygiene and safety guidelines. We also provide linens, towels, and various amenities based on the experience and reputation of our business, including book loans, board games, tourist guides, wifi, and breakfast options.
