Located approximately three hours from Paris via the A11 highway and close to the town of Chateau-Gontier, the area is conveniently situated near numerous historical and cultural sites. These include Chenonceau, Château du Lude, the castle Angers with its exquisite tapestries of the Apocalypse, the renowned vineyards of Anjou, such as the Castle Epiré, and popular destinations like Mont St Michel and the Normandy landing beaches. Additionally, the region hosts events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Mondial du Lion d'Angers equestrian competition.

For those seeking outdoor activities, the village of Daon offers boat rides on the Mayenne river, as well as paddleboat and canoe rentals. There is also an equestrian club and an 18-hole golf course located 15 kilometers away.

Nous avons séjourné pour notre lune de miel 2 nuits dans ce château. Le châtelain nous a reçu très chaleureusement. Le cadre extérieur et intérieur est superbe, calme et apaisant. La chambre spacieuse superbement décorée ...
Les pièces du château sont joliment décorées meubles, miroirs, tableaux, livres...
Le repas fût excellent en compagnie du châtelain, les échanges avec lui tout au long du séjour furent riches cest une personne très attachante.
Le propriétaire est un homme remarquable et d une hospitalité sans défaut.
Nous y retournerons pour nos prochaines vacances dans la région.
