Directions

"Les Bouffards" can be found in the heart of the Sologne forest, situated between Orléans and Bourges. To reach the destination from the A71 highway Orléans / Clermont-Ferrand, take exit n°3 Lamotte-Beuvron. Once you exit the highway, turn right and head towards Lamotte. At the second round crossing on main road N20, turn right towards Bourges/Vierzon. After traveling 500m, make a left turn towards Brinon sur Sauldre/Aubigny on road D923. Continue on this road for 8km until you see a sign that says "Département du Cher". Keep going straight for an additional 2km until you reach milestone n°2, which is located at the end of a long straight road just before a left curve. On your left, there will be an earth lane with a sign post that reads "Les Bouffards 1,5km". Drive over the Sauldre canal and make a left turn before a small pond inhabited by wild ducks and herons. Pass by a guard house and a large, restored farm on your right. Proceed straight ahead until you reach a gate facing the lane. Enter the property through the gate and continue onwards to the Castle on the right-hand side.
