Directions

To travel from Lyon by car, you can take either Highway A7 or A46 towards Marseille. Before reaching Givors, switch to Highway A47 in the direction of St Etienne/Clermont Ferrand. Once you arrive in St Etienne, continue on National 88 towards Le Puy en Velay. This road is a 2x2 way road. After passing Monistrol s/loire, take the St Maurice exit, which is approximately 6-7 kms away. Proceed under the N88 to enter St Maurice de Lignons village. Continue straight until you reach the end of the village. Just before exiting, you will find a parking lot on your right. At this intersection, turn left towards Maubourg-Les Yverras-Chateau de Maubourg (indicated by a steel cross). Continue on this road for about 1 km, passing through a wooded area with a descent and ascent. When you exit the woods, continue downhill for another 200 meters. At the bottom of this descent, you will see a group of stone houses on your left. La Desirade home is a large stone farm building with a wooden gate. Have a safe journey!

If you prefer to travel by train, you can take a train to Bas-Monistrol-sur-Loire and then catch a taxi.

For those traveling by plane, you can fly to either Saint-Etienne or Lyon St-Exupéry airports.
