Catherine and Benoit warmly welcome you throughout the year to their charming renovated stone farmhouse in the Massif des Bornes-Aravis.With four comfortable bedrooms, each equipped with private bathrooms and separate toilets, our accommodation can accommodate up to three people in each room (four in the family room). Guests also have access to a spacious lounge, featuring a large table and a cozy reading area stocked with an extensive collection of books and board games.
For those interested, we occasionally offer dinner at our table d'hôte for groups with prior reservation.
Just a short distance away, the Col de la Forclaz offers breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy. This mountain pass is a popular spot for paragliders, hang gliders, cyclists, and hikers alike.
Whether you prefer gliding through the air, snow, or water, cycling, mountain trekking, or simply immersing yourself in the peaceful and relaxing surroundings, la Chavane will surely captivate you.

Directions
* If you are coming from Annecy, drive along the eastern shore of the lake and pass through Annecy-le-Vieux, Veyrier du Lac, and Menthon St Bernard. After passing Echarvines, before reaching Talloires, take the D42 road towards Col de la Forclaz / Montmin. Once you reach Montmin Chef-Lieu, cross it and continue for 500 m until you reach the corner of the hamlet of Ferriere. Take the small road opposite the corner, leading towards Montmin Plan.
* If you are coming from Ugine / Albertville, follow the signs for Annecy and drive through Faverges Marlens. Stay on the D1508 road, which will temporarily become a 4-way road. At the second roundabout after the end of the 4-way, take the D42 road (1st exit) towards Montmin / Col de la Forclaz. Pass through Vesonne and begin the ascent to Montmin. In the hamlet of La Ferriere, take the small road on the right, leading to a hairpin turn towards Plan Montmin.
* Once you are on the communal route to Plan Montmin, continue on the road for 1.5 km until you reach the top village of Plan Montmin. Keep driving through the village until you reach the bottom of Plan Montmin, which is 100 m away. The Chavane, the destination, will be the first house on the left side, facing a meadow with a small chalet.
