This is a renovated farm that has been built using healthy and ecological materials such as hemp, wood wool, massive timbers, roofing slate, and larch. It offers a minimum level of comfort with its own heating and solar electricity. We have small private rooms, a dormitory that can accommodate up to 6 people, and a suite with multiple rooms. On the upper floor, you will find a spacious living and dining area with exposed beams and a wood-burning stove.We provide stays ranging from one to several nights with half board included. It's worth noting that fresh products are delivered to us 2-3 times a week, carried on the backs of our staff.
This secluded location is situated just 300m away from the entrance of the Ecrins National Park, surrounded by picturesque pastures and offering breathtaking views of the nearby glaciers. Enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience by having breakfast on the terrace, where you may even encounter marmots just 5 meters away!

Belle découverte
Après une randonnée dans le toujours aussi bel alpage de Villar d'Arène dimanche 3 aout, nous avons été charmés par ce tout nouveau refuge. Le repas a été excellent, avec un accueil très chaleureux et une chambre familiale pour 4 parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants.

Directions
To reach your destination, start by heading towards the hamlet called "Pied du col," which is located between Villar Arêne and Col du Lautaret. Once you reach the hamlet, proceed towards the house called "pas de lâne" at the end of the road. From there, continue on the vehicle track for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the final parking area. At this point, it's time to leave behind your worries, laptop, and iPhone, and equip yourself with comfortable walking shoes, a backpack, and hiking sticks for a pleasant one-hour walk on the GR54 trail towards the Col d'Arsine and lake. After approximately 50 minutes of uphill walking, you will reach a ledge where you can catch sight of the chalets at "le plan de l'Alpe." It will take you just 15 more minutes to reach this destination. Welcome!
