Welcome to "Apart’Observatoire Saint Jean," a charming and character-filled gite overlooking the heart of Lyon's historic district. Situated on the 4th floor of an 18th-century building, this guest apartment offers breathtaking views of the Saint Jean Cathedral, the Basilica of Fourvière, and the Renaissance district's rooftops. Restored in a traditional and rustic style, this short-term rental accommodation is furnished with antiques and provides all the necessary comforts, including internet access.

The apartment is divided into two levels, with a mezzanine. The first floor features a fully furnished kitchen, equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. However, being in a tourist area, you can easily dine at a typical Lyonnais restaurant known as a "bouchon."

On the mezzanine, you'll find a sofa bed for one, a coffee table, a cupboard, a safe, and internet access. The second level offers a bed (140 X 190), a chest of drawers, a TV, and a private bathroom.

Cleaning is provided once a week, and sheets and towels are also provided for your convenience. Please note that pets are not allowed.

Travel directions from the A6 motorway from Paris:

1. Take direction LYON CENTRE from the A6 motorway from Paris.
2. Go through the tunnel and take the first exit FOURVIERE.
3. After exiting the tunnel, continue on the road towards OLD LYON LYON SAINT JEAN.
4. Follow the banks of the Saône until you reach the Bonaparte bridge, near the cathedral.
5. Enter the PARKING SAINT GEORGES or Saint John.

Travel directions from the A7 motorway from Marseille:

1. On arrival in Lyon, take the exit for La Mulatière and head towards LYON banks of the Saône.
2. Continue on the left bank of the Saône.
3. Follow the banks of the Saône until you reach the Bonaparte bridge, near the cathedral.
4. Enter the PARKING SAINT GEORGES or Saint John.

Travel directions from Highway A43 from Grenoble and Chambéry:

1. Set your course towards the Basilica of FOURVIÈRE, which can be seen in the distance on the hill.
2. Always keep this direction.
3. Take direction LYON, then LYON MERMOZ.
4. Follow the directions for LYON CENTRE PENINSULA by taking the rue de l'Université.
5. Cross the Rhone on the BRIDGE UNIVERSITY.
6. Turn right towards BELLECOUR.
7. At the Guillotière bridge, turn left towards Place Bellecour on Rue de la BARRE.
8. Continue straight and cross the Saône on the PONT BONAPARTE.

Travel directions from the motorway A42 from Bourg en Bresse and Geneva:

1. Follow the direction Lyon from the motorway A42.
2. Take the ring road.
3. Take exit number 4 DOOR OF ST CLAIR in the NORTH direction.
4. Always follow the directions for PENINSULA CENTRE, along the International City.
5. Stay on the banks of the Rhone until you see the direction for PLACE BELLECOUR on the right.
6. Cross Place Bellecour and then cross the Saône.
7. Enter the PARKING SAINT JOHN SAINT GEORGES or Observatory.
